Kerry has 15 years of public relations and marketing communications experience both in-house and at agencies with a strong knowledge of software, marketing and e-commerce industries. She has worked extensively with technology and business press, and some of her key high-profile placements include The New York Times, MSNBC, CBS Marketwatch, USA Today, U.S. News & World Report, The Boston Globe, The Associated Press, Good Housekeeping as well as leading IT and legal trade publications.

As Principal of Plum Advisors, Kerry has managed public relations for companies including Hubbard One (part of Thomson Reuters), Dace Ventures, Tikatok, Blue Fang Games, Capsule, CarGurus, Nexx Systems and Digital Advisor. Prior to starting Plum Advisors, Kerry was an associate of Red Javelin Communications, working with technology companies including TripAdvisor, (acquired by IAC/Interactive Corp.) Kavado, Infowave and DirectoryM. Kerry held senior positions at Greenough Communications and Schwartz Communications where she successfully launched start-ups and managed public relations activities for clients including Viaweb (acquired by Yahoo), Direct Hit (acquired by Ask Jeeves), Silknet Software (acquired by Kana), Avid Technologies, Sentillion, Framework Technologies, NaviSite and Mirror Image. She was also the Director of Public Relations for Adsmart, a CMGI company that was acquired by Engage. Kerry ran marketing communications for Engage's Business-to-Business Division and for Strong Numbers (acquired by Intuit).
